REBT for Students and Teens

REBT is an evidence based holistic approach that can help young people manage cognitive, emotional and behavioural disturbances in sustainable ways. My experience as a Student CBT/REBT therapist and IAPT found that the approach helped students manage emotional dysregulation that can result in self-harm. The approach was also helpful in offering behavioural strategies and managing symptoms associated with ADHD.

As an emotion focused approach, it's particularly helpful in managing emotions linked with ADHD particularly anger, anxiety and depression and building self-esteem. At SC-Therapies, I offer a holistic approach that focuses on the "here and now" to address these challenges, focusing on building self-esteem and assertiveness as opposed to aggressive behaviour.
